Event Summary:
The recent focus was on the construction of autonomous robots, during which our FTC team had the honor of visiting the Department of Computer Science at Georgia Tech. Prof. Danfei Xu, the director of the Robot Learning and Reasoning Lab (RL2), graciously hosted our visit.
The session lasted approximately one hour and included the following key components:
- Prof. Xu provided an overview of his pioneering research and conducted a comprehensive tour of the lab.
- The FSA FTC team presented their current design work to Prof. Xu’s lab members, primarily comprised of graduate students, who offered valuable feedback and insights.
- The visit concluded with a productive idea exchange and discussion session, fostering new perspectives and inspiration.
This experience provided an invaluable opportunity for our team to engage with leading experts in the field of robotics and deepen our understanding of autonomous systems.
